CONFUSED

What is it about life that makes it so difficult? It appears to be so straightforward, but with each breakthrough, it appears to get more perplexing.

Life is a game that has no rules. Even those who follow the rules are not favored. Only those who cheat are able to survive. The weak are those who do not have the guts to defy the rules. The kings are the ones who get to the top by doing heinous crimes.

I do everything correctly and in accordance with the guidelines. Despite this, I am the loser at every turn. I keep my focus on myself and perform accordingly, yet I never receive a reward.

Doesn’t it make you think?

All of life’s pleasures have such serious implications. All of your decisions that offer you delight have caused some others to raise their eyebrows at you.

Are you daring?

Are you a strong person?

Can you deal with the consequences of others’ judgments if you don’t obey the rules? I want to take a stand, but I’m not sure what that stand should be.
